Why do you need an Energy Performance Certificate ? it is now required legally to have a live and up to date certificate if you are selling your property, renting your property or remortgaging your property. They are also required to access grants for home insualtion and energy measures and even have to legally be in place to evicit a tenant.
More and more banks, mortgage lenders and estate agaents are rewarding buyers of "efficient" homes by giving favourable mortgage rates while penalising buyers of lower rated properties by charging higher interest while estate agents are pushing for lower valuations on properties which have a low EPC rating.
It has never been more important to get an accurate EPC for both the sellar and the end buyer. With the avergae UK household rating being a D, if your property slips below this banding into the realsm of E, F or even G you may have trouble selling or even buying with a favourbale rate. In these scenarios we can advise and even in some cases access grants to improve your property to be more in line with modern standards.
To book your EPC simply choose the amount of Bedrooms the property has followed by your prefered date and time and sit back and leave the rest to us. Your certificate will be issued before we leave the property on the day and available on the .gov.uk database immediatley.
